Frigidaire Refrigerator Review

Frigidaire Refrigerator Review

This is a personal Frigidaire refrigerator review for the Platinum Series, Stainless Steel EFR751. I purchased this refrigerator about three weeks ago on Amazon. I will start by saying that I am very pleased with the purchase as well as with the delivery.

It arrived sitting upright and the packaged was in good condition. After unboxing the refrigerator, the glass shelves were all in one piece on the inside of the refrigerator and there were no scratches, dings, or dents on the outside of the refrigerator.

Appearance

With a platinum and stainless-steel finish, this retro refrigerator is the perfect size for a small apartment or a room in your home or apartment.

Quality/Function

This refrigerator is sturdy with just enough weight and height. The weight of the refrigerator is heavy enough to keep it in one place as I open the door over and over again throughout the day. However, it was still easy enough to move and maneuver into my room as needed after it was delivered on the porch. The height of the refrigerator is also very decent. Even a relatively tall person can manage to see inside the fridge. The refrigerator keeps the food cold and come with glass shelves. So, you do not have to worry about plastic shelves getting scratched.

Two Doors

Many refrigerators that are this size have a single door for both the freezer and the refrigerator. My old mini freezer/refrigerator combination had only one door. Often my food and drinks would be frozen when taken from the refrigerator. I found this to be a very irksome and dysfunctional characteristic for a refrigerator. Frozen coffee creamer first thing in the morning or a frozen liter of soda in the middle of a hot day is not ideal to say the least. Therefore, having separate refrigerator doors and freezer doors is huge plus for me. Then too, the freezer is large enough to hold a normal sized cookie sheet for any flash freezing that may need to be done for leftovers or to preserve foods from the garden.

Reversible Doors

This is something I did not want to overlook in my Frigidaire refrigerator review. You not only get two doors with this refrigerator, but you can also reverse them! With reversible doors, you can have your doors open from the left or have them open from the right.

The Handles

The handles on the refrigerator give the refrigerator an elegant retro-appearance. While the handles could probably be of a higher quality, it would likely also make the refrigerator be of a higher cost too. So, for the price of this functional, nice-looking, decent-sized refrigerator, I will not complain. Since I am frequently in and out of the refrigerator, I do not use the handles to open it. I immediately decided to just open the door itself.

The Sound

It is a quiet refrigerator. My room is usually pretty noisy. However, when my room is quiet, I do not find any sounds to be distracting or bothersome.
